jan 26, 2012; day 26: something old

so i know i'm skipping around a bunch, but frankly i don't care! i had an awesome opportunity today to take a picture or two of "something old," so of course i took it! here are the lovely pictures that resulted:

these are books from the 1870s, and they're so old to me! one of them had a newspaper clipping in it with times for the train....isn't that so cool to think that someone, somewhere in 1876 was looking at that same newspaper so they could catch a train. weird!!!

hey guys! so today's challenge was sun flare, and i couldn't do that because today was literally the rainiest, grayest day we've had in months. of course. so i took a picture of what i miss (summer):
